Well the question is, how many people will play the PC version compared to the console versions? If it's significantly more popular on PS3 and 360, it's not exactly worthwhile to make upgrades to the PC version. Just as good is... well, just as good.
When I first saw the name of the article, I thought "DA2 is coming to Wii?" and immediately afterward I realized how stupid that was.
Now that's an interesting idea. Though when you think about it for a while it makes you wonder what the advantage is of one configuration over another. Does one give you optimal shooting ability in Call of Duty?
That's a fairly ballsy statement they just made, there. BioWare does a lot of great work, Mass Effect was a great game, but I'm not sure how I feel about DG2. I'll be keeping my eye on it, though, if only for this statement.
Yea, that date doesn't sound real to me.
Man I can't even imagine how good this game is going to look. I love reading DigitalFoundry tear apart titles like this and show how orgasmic it is.
Get the Dreamcast versions up on PSN and XBLA.
Imagine having Tetris in stadiums, with pro Tetris players worshipped the way that Starcraft players are in Korea.
I am currently devoid of Tetris; I must rectify this immediately.
It's my liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiife
If you actually read the article, you'll realize that I never make that assumption at all.
Whenever I see this game, I think of the GiantBomb video where two grown men were reduced to nothing but blubbering over how adorable this game is. I always love coming across games that just tap into the one primal "fun" part of your brain. Nintendo's good at that, see Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Especially if you don't have a PS3 :(
What exactly is stopping one person or group from buying a subscription and posting the numbers all over the internet? How much does one of these cost?
It's a rare game that's so bad it gives you radiation poisoning.
You mean you got better performance out of a machine when you paid more for it? Shocking!
Seriously, though, you seem to be missing the point. Some of us don't have a lot of money to drop. That's why these articles exist.
What they need to do is swap out the Investigate portion of the regular Ace Attorney games with the system from Investigations. Then you have the ultimate adventure title.
In the meantime, a new AAI will do very nicely. Needs more Godot.
Darkstalkers girls always work for me.
Youth violence actually started to plummet right around the time the PlayStation 2 was released. What increased was the coverage of youth violence, as it always has. News networks just want us to be afraid so we'll keep watching.
You do realize that I refer to everything as a "rumor"? I'm debating how well a theoretical PSP would compete if the given information is true. Please read the damn article before commenting on it.
I considered that, but I don't consider it as much of a game-changer as the price. The constant RRODs means bad press for Microsoft and a lot of lost money, but it was the higher price that really made the difference during that one critical holiday season in 2006. All those new consumers thinking about buying game systems weren't considering that one failure rate they heard so much about. That's how Nintendo got such a strong start and changed how the industry looks at games.
The thing is, did the PS3 have to be as powerful as it was? It's not like the PS3 was sent from on high and they were forced to price it. They had absolutely every say in how much the machine was going to cost when they were making the thing.
Needs more Revolver Ocelot.
