Despite its problems WaW is still the 20th most popular game on Xbox Live - I agree business wise it makes no sense to support it, but that's like saying Windows Vista is not a priority for Microsoft so it should be left open for exploits. We should want new games because they are better (which they usually are), not because the old games are ruined due to neglect.
Well you could argue that adopting any tactic is boosting....
TAKE A DEEP BREATH GUYS AND THINK ABOUT THE POINT HE IS REALLY MAKING
I think the point he is making is getting blown out of proportion, lots of us think the game's flashlight and laser sights are unbalanced - he is just saying from an experienced point of view they are nothing like the real deal, so not only are the attachments over powered but they are unrealistic as well - surely this means that devs should amend this before the proper release
I think what he means is you shouldn't be able to toggle it so it is permanently on, instead it should be a switch which needs to be held down to be on - this would require button remapping and perhaps be a handful with most consoles
There is a fine line between being ultra realistic and fun to play - getting the balance right is an impossible task and no-matter what you can't please everyone
i get the impression lots of people are hating without actually trying it out, i was sceptical - but ended up being pleasantly surprised
Let's get the ball rolling - personally I would like to see Age of Empires, Command and Conquer, FiFa, tiger woods and sonic
the very first was a knife
lots of people are used to the unrealistic ways of CoD, the article does not say a bad word about the beta - it merely points out things which might surprise CoD gamers
yes, of course - it is just nice to give some gamers a heads up of what to expect
teething problems are understandable - not being able to get in a game after 25+ attempts is embarrassing!
It was at Eurogamer yesterday with no destruction - it can't be as you put it 'bullshit'
No, I get your point though. I just hate the way you used to buy a complete game at a shop - now we know about DLC before a game is even released, which basically means they are giving you 98% of a title and charging extra for a rest.
rant over lol
but there are other ways to bring DLC to such games, discovering / earning weapons etc through gameplay is one of the most enjoyable aspects of FF games - take this away and it is like starting a career on FIFA with all the best players, playing a Tiger Woods career with great attributes and golf clubs etc. We play for hours on end to earn rewards - buying them kills the need to do this, I loved running round on FFVII hoping to get lots of XP from a battle to rank up materia etc
it has to be substantially better for my money - if not i will stick with xbox 360 till next xbox - i really think the wii u will flop.
Also let's not forget that the wii u will have a 4-6 year shelf life - in this time 1080p will be like using svga today
killstreaks
yes but USB 2.0 is slow....
well it is Nintendo's attempt at next-gen
It isn't all about graphics, but seriously think this will struggle to sell to people who have not played CS before....
So if MW3 turned out to be the best-ever CoD and the sequels flopped you wouldn't care that support stopped?
