Unfortunately m$ could buy every developer left and still wouldn't have the pedigree on the Sony shelf. Sony has nurtured it's internal studios to create a powerful library of software developers. Hopefully in a few month the companies M$ already squired will start putting stuff out, I mean Phil's been telling us for 5 years to wait and see what great software we got coming.
This is the reason I'll get a series x eventually, no games right now means no rush to replace my one x. So ps5 first them maybe as the new games finally arrive I'll pick one up

Cause the hardware justifys a 650 or more price. they not making a dime off series x that's for sure. But when you got no games to release with your killer console you gotta take the hit and make the console seem good in other ways
Who cares? I have psnow and most of the important games are on that if I wanna play them so all good here. Don't think I've played any ps1 ps2 games and only ps3 killzone game on my ps4. So back compatiblity is not something any one really cares about apart for a few die hards who like to moan or justify piracy. My ps4 is running fine, my ps3 works fine and my ps1 and my ps2 were working fine last time I took them out of boxes.
