People have often said that the PS3 is more powerful than the Xbox, but has it really mattered? No, if the difference is not a proper generational gap, then the producers will just make cross platform games that run on both, with the biggest selling console being the lead platform. hope we'll be able to buy a new console no later than Xmas 2012 as for me this gen is just reaching its peak. I think the next console will be able to use Kinect though anyway, hopefully it'll also come with a dedicated physics chip and, although I doubt it, i'd love to see a return to cartridges for an instant on haming experience!
some stuff looks good; flamethrowers, climbing trees to snipe, no nightvision (using flares instead), the katana instead of knife. hopefully there will also be a nice range of perks and weapons including proper trip wires/mines, molotovs, customizable camo, rat tunnels, mulitplayer maps on ships, dense jungle that wears away through fighting, some better physics and be able to use human shields with penalties for taking out your own man while trying to take out the hostage taker!
