I realise this info is a little late/potentially pointless but you can 'install' F3 on the PS3, when you first exit vault 101 pause the game and you'll notice your yellow HD light on your PS3 will be flashing like crazy.
Leave it paused for ten minutes or so (until the yellow light stops flashing constantly) and it will be 'installed'.

Actually this logic is seriously flawed.
You can't have it one way and not the other, you either get treated equally or not. You don't get to decide in which areas you'd like equal treatment.

Just because co-op is in a game doesn't mean you have to co-op with someone. You can play it single player too.
