Wii U should SMASH ps3s visuals if its a next gen console.. I seen pics where the textures & AA were sharper but it was missing background details.. Givith & takith away.. It needs more than that for it to be next gen power wise.. Slight visual upgrades in the beginning is a good sign but w/o the software to use on it, its useless
I wonder what the native resolution is on Wii U & PS3.. If its the same then im not interested but if PS3 does 640 & wii u does 72...
Bring us more games that look & play better Nintendo.. If u do that, i will buy wii u.. I dont care about HD miis or any of that cutesy nintendo land mini game stuff.. Confirm upgraded releases that PS3 & 360 gets & im in.. Not just a handful

Ya for casual play.. Kids, Senior citizens, & mid aged ppl all bought wii cuz it was a fad.. How many still play or even have it? Gamecube BOMBED.. N64 did a bit under average.. Unless casuals go nuts over this (which they wont if they own tablets) this thing will be only for the fans.
Wii U may have areas where it looks better later but its a year old game build on PS3.. plus the wii u is missing alot of buildings & lights in the backgrounds.. AC3 looks to be the same with sharp AA & textures but missing lots of background elements.. They are launch title games tho so it might get better with time but how much better? considering u will need to buy an external 500GB HDD for another $100, the wii u might be too much money for whats coming for it.. It needs A LOT mor...
who cares how strong it is? its a nintendo console so all the games will be child friendly from them & little to no adult games from anyone else.. The only difference is less ppl will buy wii u.. Kids will destroy the tablet w liquids, scratches, & permanent smudges.. The tablet absorbs power from the console lowering framerates.. If u like nintendo, then hey more power to u finally getting HD games.. If not, in a year the power houses will arrive with new development
Im gtn plus.. I hate xbl so i cancelled it.. Sony is a real gaming machine 1st, media 2nd.. which is why i bought a console in the first place.. to play games.. blu ray player just sealed the deal
In the begining i was so pumped for this system but now im just not interested.. BLACK WII U & NEW PRO CONTROLLER!! i was so excited only to be left shaking my head with disbelief.. the facebook like social network looks cheap but i love the fact u can suspend gameplay to use it & video calls but i dont have friends that play nintendo games so i wont get use from any of that
It might be called Mario Universe & that is the epic title that would move systems.. Not this old formula thats basically the same in HD.. Not even 1080p which is very alarming to me.. this engine isnt taxing on power what so ever
it will need a external HDD almost immediately.. resulting in the wii u costing a bit more for ppl.. 500gb is around $100 give or take.. add that to the rumoured $300 & it gets deep.. Nintendo needs to show whats under the hood so ppl can know what theyre paying for
Ive been reading that the tablets sucks up system power resulting in framerate drops.. So the rumoured 1.5 gb of ram & 50% stronger gpu could end up doing nothing but keeping the games as stable as the competition while using the tablet.. With the pro controller being only used, games might end up sharper.. Dont matter tho cuz there really isnt anything new except AC3 & Aliens.. the rest arent even worth mentioning

Why take elements from WARIO instead of making an actual WARIO.. I think a Wario Land for 3DS would be killer.. Him & WaLuigi running around greedily collecting coins n treasures in multiplayer would be soooooooo much more appealing & fresh to play than the same thing w a twist.. The virtual boy wario land was awesome & that style of gameplay would be perfect
maybe but its to my understanding they said they were going for the "core" audience.. Why make click analogs instead of slide pads if they werent interested? why ghost recon online & aliens? I think wii u will have some good games soon enough.. they will be mostly by them & not 3rd party tho..
no need to get snooty guy.. They will still make games for current gen for at least 2 years while the new ones take flight.. Or u can get a wii u.. The world isnt going to wait cuz u think think tech is ok the way it is.. Sony, Microsoft, Developers, & a HUGE amount of gamers are ready for upgraded tech.. Devs are already showing off new engines for machines that arent even out yet..

Microsoft put limits on what multi console games can do.. By contract, devs cant add any more to sonys games than they put in xbox.. (smart business) & Sony was pissed about them protecting an inferior technology.. Thats why sony exclusives look so damn stunning..
Well i said so far.. Who knows? They could end up putting more ram, btr CPU, & btr GPU than the dev kits have! except that wont happen.. The dev kits are barely above current gen so the Wii U may have tablet style nx gen play ability but the games wont look much btr than whats out now.. Wii U isnt fighting NXBX or PS4.. They stuck behind again & will do their own thing again.. Not that its a bad thing.. I have to own 2 systems for games. 1 from nintendo & 1 from Sony
its a good system.. just dont want one YET.. maybe in a few years it will build its library while i play ps4
