Yeah, the problem is that while your theory is supported by a few facts, it's also completely nullified by another. The track isn't Silverstone or any other un-named DLC location, as this article's "theory" and its title both still suggest. That's not good.
Yep, that means it could only be the Top Gear Test Track. That also means DLC - including Silverstone, which is mentioned in this article's title - is completely out of the equation here.
These sorts of blog posts do more harm than good for the GT series.
GTPlanet has confirmed the circuit in this competition is one that's already in the game. From: http://www.gtplanet.net/mer...
"Mercedes is not revealing the circuit which will hold this competition, describing it as an “undisclosed location”. That said, I can confirm it will be held on a circuit that’s already featured in the game, so don’t get too carr...
You must have missed the first paragraph of the article, and its description here. What were you expecting?
These guys must not read GTPlanet...
You've seen the video, right?

You're not wrong - Forza 3 is expected to have around 400 cars. GT PSP with 800.
Who said they wanted anything leaked? People - and large corporations - make mistakes. Of course, those of us who even know about this news are a small subset of their customer base - E3 announcements will still be a big surprise for a majority of their customers.
This article is sensationalism at its best. Nothing new, and there has not been one single mention of weather effects coming to GT5 Prologue outside of someone's web forum wish list. Damage will be coming in an update, yes, but we've known about that for nearly 9 months now.
No... Christmas 2010. Maybe.
Where have I seen this before? Oh, yeah...

This image originated at GTPlanet, and the guy who made it said himself that he made it in Photoshop. They posted the full story (and how this spread) at http://www.gtplanet.net/rea...
No, he wasn't injured in a car crash, he fell in his home.
