I don't mind Zelda games taking so long. Zelda's the one series I don't wanna see Nintendo rush out the door to make. There's plenty of games to play these days, release it when it's perfect. If not for the fans, for the series itself.

Game was rough around the edges, but with a little polish, could be pretty good. That's usually what sequels are all about, perfecting the formula. I'd play the 2nd.
It has a certain feel to it that does take some getting used to, and obviously isn't for everyone.
But I do agree with you, Uncharted 2's campaign wipes the floor with the Gears series. That opening scene was unlike anything I had played in my life. The campaign is truly something every gamer should experience.
Online got stale after a few months, I eventually went back to Bad Company. But I'm glad to see them still supporting the game. The community must enjoy it!

I never played any of the Resistance games, but I never really felt like I was missing out. I'd like to see them do something that isn't a FPS. I've just got too many of those on my plate at the moment.
Sure, People Can Fly is an Epics Game Studio. But they aren't the same guys at Epic Games. Two completely different teams.
As for Bulletstorm "tanking", the game was released in the middle of a sh*tstorm of FPS titles, (Killzone 3, Homefront, Crysis 2) so its sale, or lackof is completely understandable given the time of release. But the game has a solid 84 on metacritic, so while maybe it wasn't a AAA commercial success, any hate you have towards it is just...
