Rare Wii games? Nintendo has trouble putting out Common NES games (not meant to be rude towards you Concertoine)
It won't with Super Mario Galaxy, or Metroid You'll still need the Wii remote and nunchuk. What I'm telling people is that this isn't new. You can do this right now if you have a physical copy of the game.
I'm writing this so that people
A) are aware that they don't have to buy the game again
B) don't waste their money
C) Realize (some don't) that the Wii U can already do this and the Nintendo Direct didn't add anything new

I agree, to be able to play the Wii Games on the gamepad with gamepad controls would be great. I just always imagined games that require pointing at the screen to be changed to touchpad controls (point at starbits to collect them).

But yes you are right it didn't ALWAYS (meaning from the get-go)have this support. But started in an update from 2013. I've had the console since 2013 and this feature was always there for me (or at least when I tried this wacky experiment).

the battery on the PlayStation 4 controller is godawful too. Atleast the Gamepad has a reason to sucking.
