there have been many cameo's of none playable characters in mk's story and you can bank on it that mkx's story will be no different, especially when there's a 25 year gap between mk9's story and mkx's story..... expect lots of characters to get killed off!
as for Kenshi, I really hope he makes the cut but he's confirmed in the mkx app. That dose not mean he's confirmed for the console release. As i recall there was an Injustice app just like the new mk...
I can bet my life on it that, Johnny Cage, Sonya, and Jax will not be playable in mkx, just because there seen in the story does not mean they will be part of the final roster. Motaro made a appearances in MK9's story mode but he was never playable or even a boss for that matter. So i'm sorry for bursting your bubble guys but it's not looking good for those guys!! and why have sonya and cassie or jax and Jacqueline brigs... no one wants a carbon copy of a character that's alre...

Resident evil, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, Tomb Raider, Doom, DOA, Hitman, Max Payne, Prince of Persia, Need for speed and Super Mario bros the movie!! thats just a couple of horribly made movie that do not live up to the games in any way what so ever.
