It depends on the quality of the Remaster itself for every great Remaster like Crash or Uncharted trilogy there's a steaming pile of crap like Silent Hill HD or Dishonored 1 HD.

Er no not in my opinion, a lot of people can't stand mobile gaming and some are indifferent (myself included) to handhelds too. The only remotely "on the go" platform a lot of people enjoy is the Nintendo Switch and that's cause it can be used as both a handheld AND a console.
