Awe, two of my least favorite game publishers coming together, it's like some kind of dystopian nightmare
Seriously? How are so many people misinterpreting this quote. All that Kensuke Tanabe meant by his statement was that it was too late in the Wii U lifecycle to start development on a Metroid game and that if one were to enter development now it would be for the NX. He was not confirming anything, he was clearly speaking hypothetically.
Also, from this article, "Kensuke Tanabe... said that Metroid franchise would arrive on the Nintendo NX console as its latest addition to...
I'm confused, who the hell is the source and why should I believe he's legit. Especially with that janky first screenshot
More like a "Hey, why not microtransactions?" team.
You know, Team Ninja could of made Code Chronos instead of this game...
It's kinda weird seeing a God Eater character on 3ds box art. I'm really looking forward to this game though.
Well fortunately the western media doesn't rate games, that is the ESRB's job.
Man, I really wish I could care.
What an awful website, I couldn't even read the article thanks to the giant ads blocking the screen that I couldn't get rid of. Regardless, I doubt there's any precedent for this article, Final Fantasy isn't in any risk of not being profitable, and XV is poised to have more mainstream success than any FF in recent memory.
So you saw more promise in XIII than this game? Whatever floats your boat I suppose.
People, before you freak out let me educate you. Miyamoto isn't suggesting that Link as a character would be a woman, just that the role of a male Link would be played by a woman. This actually happens quite often in plays, and shouldn't be taken as an attack on Link's gender.
No, no, they want an actress to play a male Link. Like how Peter Pan was traditionally played by a women in plays (not that anyone here is aware of that)
I don't see any particular reason to believe this rumor, but at the same time I wouldn't suggest getting any game (especially one with a multiplayer focus) day one. Games almost universally have issues on release these days.
I'm pretty sure 343 was founded specifically to make Halo games so I'm not entirely sure why you're surprised by this.
If the Donkey kong franchise can last from 1981 to today, then I don't see any reason to doubt that Halo can last as long as well.
I'm so glad this game is happening!
As long as a game franchise can thrive, innovate, and overall be successful I couldn't care less what platform it's on
Why are people still talking about this?
Oops, meant to say Namco.
No there hasn't. In fact Nintendo has stated the exact opposite. There will not be a major Metroid title released on the Wii U.
