All these Definitive Editions, HD Remakes, we need new games damnit! I can understand games that are being made on this gen and last gen, and even games made on last gen just before this gen came out being remade, but really, anything older doesn't need to be remade unless it was an absolutely amazing game that deserves the upscale treatment, and worth a repurchase.
They don't need to do anything, its a video game, everything in it is fictional, deal with their amazing creation or don't, either way they don't need to explain themselves.
A bit of a long read for me, but it was definitely a good one. Loved MK games growing up, and things got serious when I could finally beat my uncle who introduced me to the games. Can't wait for MKX.
My brother got the CoD Xbox One and we gameshare, but might have to pick up a couple copies of Destiny online tomorrow. It sucks that it says it will be $29.99 online, but still a decent price, and the game looked great from what i've seen.
If I ever have a child of my own, they would for sure go through this as well, not so much as an experiment, but to give them some of the experiences I had growing up, and for me to revisit some old games at the same time.
And you all thought Microsoft paying $2.5 Billion for Minecraft was rediculous, well its all paying off now that you can play on Windows phones!
I'm joking of course, I'm sure they have bigger plans.
Wish I could have gotten one to put it on ebay. I'm sorry, but I could use the extra money for bills and buy a regular PS4 sometime down the road since I just got my Xbox One to hold me over a while.

I just got the first Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMix, will wait to see if they bring those to PS4 before I go out and buy 2.5
Hopefully they do, I don't have a PS4 yet but Kingdom Hearts ReMix's would be a nice game to start with when I do get one.

I say go ahead, if they can do it, let them. There are plenty of games with offline functionality. And if initial setup requires connection to Xbox Live then oh well, wait a couple hours, a day, if they manage to keep it offline for a longer period of time I am sure Microsoft will compensate us for the downtime.
I still don't understand why people find it amusing to do this.

I bought my Xbox One first, neither console had games out already that i'm really interested in, but Xbox had a couple more that caught my attention over PS4. Hopefully the same stays true over the next year, even though I will probably pick up a PS4 next holiday season, i'd love some good games to come out for Xbox One while I wait.
I bought my Xbox One first over the PS4, how about Aaron give me two games free.
Two things:
1. I hope this is true.
2. I hope they don't screw it up. They need to go back to the gameplay and options of Underground 1 and 2 without adding too much new stuff, some is ok, just don't overdue it.
Just got my Xbox One yesterday and this was a free game I chose with it, and it is simply amazing. Note my Xbox One is set to 720p cause my tv is so outdated, but the game is still gorgeous. The gameplay itself is great and a bit better than the first I think. I don't like Forza Motorsport games but I love Horizon, hope they make another.
Definitely seems like a nice guy from all the things i've read and seen, glad he isn't opposed to congratulating the competition on their brands years of success.

I couldn't connect to either of the 360's in my household last night, then when one connected, the other wouldn't download a dashboard update (it hadn't been used in a while). Today everything worked on both. Also was watching someone play Xbox One on Twitch last night and none of their digital games would connect so they stopped streaming for the night.
Still got both my PS1 and PS1 'Slim'. My fat PS2 died as well as my fat PS3, but still have the slim PS2 and slim PS3. Never had my own PSP or Vita, and went with Xbox One this year, but next year I will grab a PS4 and possibly Vita.
So long as its a good quality product every few years and they don't try to start pushing out more product in less time, I can see it lasting a while.
