Surprisingly I liked Dinklage as the Ghost in Destiny, and Nolan North didn't ruin it entirely but he hurt me by replacing Dinklage.
I ordered a Nintendo Switch on Cyber Monday and suppose to get a digital $50 Gamestop card and $35 Nintendo eShop card sent by email. Switch arrived 11/29 and my gift cards were still inaccessable to me so I emailed that day and haven't got an email back yet. (Emailed twice and DMed Twitter account) Really don't want to have to call because everywhere I have read an hour, two hours, or more on hold.
David Jaffe maybe. He is the best for creating Twisted Metal and God of War, don't get me wrong, but then there was Drawn to Death, and the PS3 Twisted Metal did not feel right to me, but some people liked and praised him for those games, and I just can't agree. Give me a new Twisted Metal with an old school feel to it and i'll think about it.
Gearbox with Borderlands and Rockstar with everything they do, yes even Table Tennis. I don't know individual creators, but whoever makes their worlds are amazing.
Princess Peach. I mean how many times you got to save her. I guess it gave us something to do other than plumbing in the Mario games.
Sora, and his wide arrangement of outifts throughout all the Kingdom Hearts games! I really enjoy the design in most of the costumes they create for him and can't wait to see whats in KH3. As for his character, Sora is always there for Donald, Goofy and everyone else when they need him most, and he doesn't give up.
Horror games. I think a lot of what is available now uses jump scares for the majority of their "horror" and there could be so much more done to push the limits and put fear into the players experiences.
What is Borderlands? Shooter, Action, RPG? In any case, that is my favorite game series and type of game that I really enjoy playing. Especially when the games are coop multiplayer. I love these type of games for the progression systems and all of the different ways to customize and make your characters your own.
Microtransactions and landing in a battle royale game and there are no weapons in the first few buildings you enter *coughblackoutcough*.
VR gaming I believe has made great leaps forward in the past few years and I can't wait to see how much more they can bring to it in the years to come.
Ummm probably Naughty Bear. The concept was fun, but very repetetive and the gameplay mechanics just weren't that great in my opinion. Maybe not the worst, but it is the first thing that came to mind when reading the question.
Mario Bros games on NES are up there but I think the biggest influence was Gauntlet on NES with a 4 controller adapter. Our group of players usually consisted of myself, my cousins, one or two of my uncles, sometimes my parents, and sometimes even my grandmother. I don't care how old I get, I don't think gaming will ever not be a part of my life.
Many good games are going to be there for sure, but I am hoping we finally get a glimpse of Borderlands 3, even if its just a teaser trailer or something.
Update: Gamestop has a deal for a Switch, $50 Gamestop gift card, and $35 Nintendo eShop gift card for Cyber Monday, so I decided to order that. Get $85 in bonuses is as good as those other bundles I think. Good luck to everyone searching for deals or even available consoles.
I'm going to wait a bit because according to websites most stores around me are out as well. Was looking at maybe a Fortnite or Mario Kart bundle because of the free content, but they are gone everywhere. Will see what happens, haven't bought Nintendo since the Wii but the Switch looks great and most everyone I play with on Xbox also has a Switch or is thinking about getting one. Hopefully a local retailer gets more of those bundles or I can find one online without the price jacked...
When they announced PS4 before the Xbox One, Microsoft took everything people were disliking from the PS4 presentation and using it to their advantage. Sony skipping E3 may be them trying to get Microsoft to reveal new hardware first so they can try and do the same.
In my opinion the Playstation E3 presentations aren't as exciting to watch as Xbox. I support both, and Playstation does have some good games I can't get on Xbox. Always look forward to watching Sony,...
I'm in for this one. Simple and good questions to be asking.
Hopefully this works with DLC discs. Borderlands is great but I don't want to buy all the DLC when I have a disc containing it all! Same goes for Fallout 3.
Guess what. Most of the people hating are still going to buy the game, still give Activision their money, and nothing is going to change from this game to the next besides the studio making the game. I like Call of Duty, some more than others, but I enjoy the campaigns and coop modes more than the online. If they ever shift into an online only Call of Duty then I will quit buying them, but for me, the story, zombies, spec ops, extinction, etc. are the main reasons I still purchase.
Have to go against my own choice for who ruined it for me. Nolan North is great in many roles. I still stand by Dinklage for the better Ghost though.
