I seriously doubt it is possible... Given that the 3DS only has 1 camera in the inside it can only take 3D video with the 2 outside cameras so i don't know how this would work...

@Rodeoo: That is the best 3D TV on offer right now too. (the series in general) it is a very good price if you ask me. I remember my HD-Ready TV cost me 2200 Euro when i bought it. (HD ready is 1366x768 for you americans) Back in 2006 people were saying HDTV would fail for the same reason too.

But DX11 on a good rig already looks better than a lot of PS3 exclusives and it is still in its infancy stage. By 2012 the PS3 will be completely outdated on every front, as the tech behind DX11 will be optimised and devs will be able to use it more effectively, the hardware needed to use it will also become more accessible. To explain it better right now DX11 tech doesn't pose such a big threat to PS3 but by 2012 it will. You can only do as much on current gen hardware as multiplats and ...
It is inevitable. The PS3 is already starting to show its age slowly, with DX11 on PC and other technologies coming. Sony has always kept 6 year generations on their console products so it would be consistent with their normal strategy. When did you think it would come out 2016? Latest deadline i'd give the PS4 is 2013 but that would be too late.
Don't think they can do it by 2012.

That's what you get when you release JRPGs exclusively to the 360... Still waiting for that EU localisation but frankly not many people care at this point.
Good hopefully it will mean less shovelware on the 3DS.
@Trroy: I don't think that will be the case. With the DS reputation on it's back the 3DS will be much better supported as unlike the PSP it won't suffer so heavily from piracy and developers will wait for large returns to justify their investment.
