This just goes to show you that there truly isn't a best FF game and that everyone has there favorite one. Mine is a toss up between 7 and 9 but thats just my opinion. VIII was absolutely amazing too. I find something unique and brilliant in each installment while at the same time they retain that special Final Fantasy feel.
Exactly. Not sure why I didn't ask about Xenogears which is the best JRPG along with Chrono Cross and FF7. Love Xenosaga a lot too. I wish Tetsuya Takahashi would personally direct the 6th and final chapter of Xenogears. Xenogears was Episode 5 out of 6 which many people don't know about. I don't care how he does it but he needs to obtain the rights to the Xenogears franchise back from square somehow.

Wow a Xenogears costume set would be amazing. As you can see by my avatar that Im a big fan of the game. Citan and Fei's costumes could work very well in this game since they are traditional Chinese inspired clothing that would look good in a fantasy game.
No fanservice in XIV? what about the Magitek Armors from FF6 or the Judges from FF12 or the limit breaks from FF7? I can go on and on about this so hopefully you get the idea that FFXIII fanservice is not a big deal and thers a lot of people who would actually enjoy it so please stop complaining about XIII. You implied that Mel Gibson was simply acting with a toned down Aussie accent which doesnt make sense unless he wasn't Australian in the first place. Why would someone tone down there Aussie accent when the film takes place in Australia? it sounded like you thought he was American and was simply trying to impersonate an Aussie to the best of his ability and finding a balance between his American accent and an Aussie one.
Mel Gibson used his native Australian accent for the movie. He was born in the US but moved to Australia when he was a baby and grew up with an Aussie accent.
Every single trailer and shred of footage we have seen up to now has been current gen. It has been 100% confirmed by Konami and Kojima. We havent even seen the next gen versions of the game yet. Kojima said the main focus has been on current gen for now but later we will have the next gen versions. That makes everything we have seen way more impressive.
Hopefully the next generation of gaming will bring on some truly innovative and original JRPG's for us. I think FFXV and Kingdom Hearts 3 is a great start and I hope to get some new JRPG IP's too.
IMDB can be edited like Wikipedia can and David Hayter's name has already been taken off of that page. The only way you would know if hes in the game is if Kojima confirms it himself.
This game will no doubt bleed into the timeline and events of Metal Gear 1 and 2. Kojima also confirmed yesterday that he is looking for a studio to remake Metal Gear Solid using The Fox Engine so that would make me very happy. Its a great time to be an MGS fan for sure.
Solid Snake could be the antagonist. not as a villain in that sense but as Big Boss's biggest enemy. We know that Zero/Cipher will be in the game and as a major enemy and villain but I think the primary antagonist will be Solid. It makes sense. This game is not just going to take place in 1984 it will be many years after that as well mark my words.

Becauase this game could take place over many years. I keep saying this in other posts but i get no replies and i think it makes sense. In the part where Huey is being tortured in the extended MGSV E3 trailer you see Kaz wearing a Diamond Dogs beret and he looks at the very least ten years older than when he is in Afghanistan getting rescued by Big Boss. That to me proves that this game lead right into the events in Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2 and maybe even playing as Solid Snake later.

That guy was Kaz. Theres that seen where Ocelot is torturing Huey by throwing a bucket of water on his face and then you see Kaz wearing a Diamond Dogs beret. His sleeve was dangling since he is missing an arm and also you see his legs under the table and you can see that one of his legs is much skinnier than the other which to me indicates that he has a prosthetic. He looks at least ten years older than when Big Boss rescues him in Afghanistan.
Do you mean where are they in the picture? if so they neither of them or pictured. I hope that they finish the Xenogears saga one day since we still don't have that mysterious 6th episode yet.
