You seem to be one of the people who are assuming that this means the first part is fully made which is false. This isn't an episodic game like the games Tell Tale makes.
Oh here we go again with people jumping to conclusions. The first part isn't done yet. It just means the scenario has been completed. The game is far from done. 2017 most likely for the first part. No one wants to use their brains it seems. It's painful to read the knee jerk reactions on various sites.

It isn't "episodic" so stop saying it. It is split into parts and I reckon it will 2 or 3 at the maximum. Each part is a full AAA game and not some slice of content like Tell Tale game episodes. People need to understand this and stop freaking out. The reasoning for this makes sense and is for the best.
This is the best DLC from the Soulsborne series in my opinon. It was more challenging than the base game and it had amazing new areas to explore. It adds eleven new trick weapons which is a freaking insane amount and they are all even better than most of the weapons from the base game. There is also a lot to dig into as far as the lore goes as well and it is amazing. So YES go get this expansion and enjoy the hell out of it while getting killed over and over again lol.
