If gears 2 gives me 1 tear I will forever worship the franchise lol!
Well if it isn't at E3 then I'm sure it wont be out this year. I for one just want a great game and wether that means staying on track or starting over I really don't care.
MS isn't a joke and are big players this gen but I will agree that the core is a joke and should never have existed.

Anyways there's nothing wrong with poking a little here and there but I myself was never one of the Xbox fans that claimed we got everything on day one. This is good news however and will hopefully put to rest the Arcade version and drop the price of the Hdd's to make them much more affordable.
No one ever said we get everything day one but you got to admit that in game XMB was a plus and something the PS3 should of launched with.

Well I'm actually happy this game is going back to the drawing board. I wasn't really feeling this all new open world gameplay like AC! Hopefully they bring it back to it's roots but improve the story a little and keep multiplayer. Now that they've had some real hands on time developing on 360 they can pump out something stellar in 2009!

Can you please post a link with an official conformation on Alan Wake being pushed back to 2009. I'm not sure whats going on with the title but Shane Kim did say that E3 will have many surprises and my bet is that ALan will make it this year.

Maybe it's just me but I thought this game was going to be set in more of a Pichblack/Halloween/terminator type of survival horror universe. Don't get me wrong part one was amazing but with visuals this good I could only imagine how deep it would be if they truly focused on horror and action together this time around. Sorry Leon but I have to taotally totally disagree with you. After reading up on this game for quite some time and then seeing the more recent gameplay trailers this game is shaping up to be something Epic in it's own rights. Silicon has a great record for delivering and this game I have a feeling is going to live beyond it's expectations. These guys are on a mission to shut the haters up an I believe they can do it.
With the way things are going and all games ending up on both consoles I really wonder if a one platform future is headed our way soon. Sure the competition is good but I think developers will still try and out do each other and the fanboys will vanish (thank God) into extinction. Maybe the next generation will be called the PCconsole era and MS and Sony eventually just work together. Also I see what your saying and good read by the way.

Heck i remember playing this on dreamcast against my brothers but could never find a friend that was any good. My dream has always been to get this game over any fighter online just to play somebody just once that could put a beat down on me.
Now if he used another person as a shield then yeah I would call that kind wussy myself but you gotta admit that any human would of taken cover. Could you imagine if that were a rotten egg?
