Why did PCGamer post this now? This was news when the game first released and people were pirating it. Upon further review of the article, it was indeed posted of April 2016. Most other users here would have been flagged and suspended for posting something like this.
Very fair and valid point. Do you think that the incentives are that good? What are some of your favorite incentives? Are skins and color swaps good enough? Have you ever played a day one purchase with a slice of extra content that was hefty and changed the overall value of the game? If so, can you point out some and illustrate why and how?
Are you aware that most of these incentives can be had for a fraction of the cost months later since these games are often mass produce...
Not sure why people gave me downvotes. The article links you to https://polytron.itch.io/fe... and when you pay with Paypal or credit card you'll get this message "Download this game by purchasing it for $0.01 USD or more.
Due to processing fees the minimum amount is 50 cents."
It's now fifty cents. Please update.
I thought the same thing as I played it. I don't think it came across how much I actually felt that way in the video. I leaned too much one way. It's totally worth giving it a try and the dedication to Sonic's fans is straight delightful. - Daniel (DanJam)
With things like Amazon Prime and Best Buy's GCU, it doesn't make sense to preorder. Wait a week and pay $48 once you know the game is complete. Simple. People are often too urged to play before somebody else, as if it matters. It weakens gaming culture.
Furthermore, there isn't cross play enabled with X-Box One and X-Box One S players. It's more of a divide than ever. I'm sure if people are patient though, and calmly ask the people up top to comply, they will. It isn't impossible, it's just improbably if we sit back and don't do anything about it.
Agreed!
Appreciate the heads up.
Super Mario 64 articles never get old. It's the "God Father 1 & 2" of gaming.
Can't believe the Dorks didn't mention it. Great addition! -Daniel
