i really don't think that haze was very hyped at all just your normal press before a game gets released. you've pretty much got lair and this. and lair was just a ploy to test out the sixaxis. and i played the haze demo and i didn't think it was that bad. play it on hard and it's got a decent challenge. but what ever. fanboys well be fanboys i guess

of course it's easy to program for. developers have been doing those codes for years now, because it's basically a last gen console with semi hi def grafx. thats why it's taking a little longer to learn the ps3 because it's actually pushing the industry forward. it's like learning something new. hense NEXT gen.

i don't think they were trying to rewrite the book on fps's. i'm sure it 's going to be a fun game with a good storyline. i think people pay too much attention to res and grafix. there is a bunch of good games coming with hi res and amazing grafix. they don't all have to be perfect. but if your not going to be perfect you had better make it fun to play and i'm sure this game nails that aspect.

i wouldn't say that. i rented it i only played portal, but that game is awesome. one of the coolest games i've played in a long time. and if you haven't played it then it's something you should do as soon as possible.
i guess it depends on your definition of hardcore. is hardcore only shooters? i don't think so. is hardcore only games with killing in them? i don't think so.
i think a hardcore game is a game where you need to be a serious gamer to want to play it.

didn't the first game have 4 player co-op. if it did i'm sure it well be in the 2nd game.

the ps3 is an awesome game machine, it's an awesome bluray player. be happy with what you have, and just know that most of what you want is on the way.
