i have the new hp laptop. 4gig ram. 17" screen. 320hdd. and it was a grand. i couldn't see spending a grand on a notebook. but then again i'm not in the notebook market. but if i were in the notebook market i'd want a good one. i wouldn't want a cheap ass acer. so i wouldn't mind spending some money on it.
