Seriously it's not cool when you see PS3 games go to 360 vice versa. I think Kojima feels the same, unfortunately Konami is after money and M$ have tons of it so money > creativity? How would you feel if PS3 gets Halo? I'm a PS3 fan, I wouldn't want that to happen simply because it's a 360 game.
Exactly MK is known for the best 2D action. Please go back to 2D with very good texture/model details. Show to gaming industry 2D can still survive.
