Personally I think it will be 2020, but could still see a 2019 launch, also with the "standard" style of architecture the ps4 has I see no reason why the ps5 wouldn't be BC, they won't switch to a different architecture again after the issues they had with the ps3s 3rd party games.

I don't have an issue with this, these are great games and everyone should enjoy if given the chance, it would definitely be cool for current Xbox players who played it when they were younger or younger gamers who never had the chance at all.

Well I got quite a few hours out of it before I got bored, so many bland planets got a bit tedious, I didn't even mind the grind mining part lol
Jumped back on after the update, some pretty cool improvements but im playing Horizon zero dawn and battlefield 1 mp atm so I can't see myself getting back into it, its definitely a much better experience now than at launch.
It could be interesting, from a business point of view it makes sense to just have it on switch, the wiiu isn't going to get support anymore and I would assume a majority of wiiu owners will get switch anyway, I dont see it as losing any sales but more like helping them move to a new (Nintendo) gaming device.
They want to forget the wiiu ever happened, releasing the latest zelda on wiiu doesn't help them with that.

I spent years playing COD before a friend introduced me to BF and then I never looked back but I would buy MW remastered without hesitation, if it was stand alone.
I believe I read that article, the headline was kind of click bait-ish, the actual article was talking about the first trailer not running on that engine, because he hadn't actually decided what engine he was going to use at that point.

Although I am suspicious of ubi games nowadays, i am somewhat optimistic of wildlands, it seems to have that old Socom feel to it, but with obvious modern updates, to me it definitely has great potential.
Well make a proper sequel to black flag, hell, loose the assassins creed name and literaly make black flag it's own IP
They did clarify it will have single player but worryingly they didn't use the word campaign... So I'm not sure exactly what that means, maybe just some ai team mates?
