I have an open mind. I'm just not going to buy a console based on future games that may or may not be great and may or may not stay exclusive when I own a gaming PC.
If all those future games you mentioned were from MS first party studios and they said they were XB1 exclusive, never coming to Windows 7-10, it would be one thing.
But MS seems to be giving gaming PC owners less and less of a reason to get their consoles as time goes on.
I have most of the other games I was interested in on PC. Have you been paying attention to Titanfall, Ori, DR3, D4, Gears, etc coming to PC?
I'd want all the halo's or wait to see what future games actually stay exclusive.
I'm tired of this "only box people can afford" crap. I could buy a XB1 every 2 weeks. I put more than what an XB1 costs into my savings every 2 weeks. To me its not about affording its about having unique exclusives I can't get on PS4 or my PC, and like always with MS its pretty much just Halo and Forza just like always. I'm not into driving sims and one FPS series doesn't get me to buy a console and pay for another subscription.
I'll be waiting...
Halo alone still isn't enough for me to get an Xbox, except maybe if they had a bundle for Black Friday with Halo 5 and MCC for $350.
Waiting to see how this and future games turn out.
The supernatural stuff at the end of Uncharted and Tomb Raider games just annoy me. You spend all this time as a real person, fighting other real people, then theres some BS at the end. Just seems like a cop-out to me. Why not just have some grand final battle?
I signed up on the first day and downloaded this without an issue.
This is what malware would tell us though . . . :-P
Considering Until Dawn isn't a first person game. I'd say no.
Sweet!!! I'll take 5.
on a serious note, I'm not sure asking for 3 grand up front is going to help convince developers to make content for an unproven platform.
Sounds like they're under-estimating how much people like 100%-ing camp after camp, city after city.
I've been doing it for about 30 hours probably now in Mad Max. I'm about no where in the story and almost completely leveled up. Definitely going to do the platinum.
I grabbed this game when it was like $15-20. Its still in the shrinkwrap but I plan on making a weekend out of it sometime soon.
Meh. It basically says we'll make the ps5 when developers have the need for it. That quote makes it sound like there may not be another playstation.
@moldybread
VR will have an easier launch on the PS4 because you can tell people, "hey this thing will work on that thing you bought".
You're not saying, "hey this thing may work on that thing you have but check the specs and you may need to upgrade your video card or RAM".
The easier it is for people to ease into VR the better.
Just give me Shadow of the Colossus 2 VR so I can shit myself already.
What percent of Valve's install base can run VR though? A lot of crappy computers have steam too you know.
Games like Titanfall, Evolve and probably this game have about 1/30th of the content of the Battlefield MP though. I still like the BF single player, especially the Bad Company series. I just don't like it more than the MP.
They avoided high taxes that were meant to fund their expansive social programs. If the people are productive a country can survive. Government is a leech that lives off the productive, not the other way around.
I usually only go for DLC that extends the single player campaign. Like RDR Undead Nightmare or TLOU Left Behind, etc. The other stuff just seems rather meh to me.
The timed exclusivity away from the best selling console does it a hell of a lot more than a season pass.
Adventure games are getting pushed to the indie space like the vanishing of ethan carter and what not. Anyone that doesn't think Tomb Raider is going to be action packed and be more and more like any other DLC packed MP-mode focused games, you're kidding yourself. Those days are long gone. At least Tomb Raider will always have a campaign.
