Sounds like you want new IPs/new experiences (Bloodborne, The Order) . . . outside of Sunset Overdrive where are you getting that so far on XB1?
I see no reason to get a XB1 unless you're really into Halo and Forza so far, and hell, even a new Halo hasn't been released yet.

Yea I only did for TLOUR and GTAV because I could turn in my ps3 copy and get the port half off. It was mainly cause I knew the online community would be better on ps4.
I bought the God of War collection and God of War III for cheap on PS3. My GoW III is still in the shrinkwrap cause I never played through the collection yet.

I'm debating waiting on this game to get cheaper just because Mad Max comes out the same day. There's only so many open world games I can deal with at once.
I got a ton from PS+. Most of them I just haven't gotten around to. I have a huge backlog of games. Some of them I like but needs local co-op to really enjoy like Towerfall Ascension and nidhogg and I don't have anyone for that.
Then others I just haven't gotten around to yet like Binding of Isaac and Rogue Legacy.
I played some Valiant Hearts and Strider but just haven't gotten back to them. I'll probably try Child of Light too.

Thats because you don't. You'd be relying on a service providing the digital game. I buy physical for every game I can because I'm pro-ownership rights. I don't resell them. I just don't want to rely on anything other than what I purchase.
Do you think bluray is the end of physical media? This goes in cycles. When everyone is using some future 100-200GB media disc, for each game, digital is gonna look like crap again. Cause a 2 TB drive will hold like 14 games.
Backwards compatibility is over-rated anyway. I'm drowning in new games to play and I kept my PS3 along with my PS3 games. Why would I sell the console and keep the games?
I'm playing Rocket League on PS4 and Just Cause 2 on PS3. Its not hard to change inputs and controllers.
