Um that's a bad example. As MW2, sold more than anything else by ubisoft or activision.
As well as Assasins Creed 2 selling 9 million.
But I don't agree with them taking away used sales. Because used sales, allows the people that buy new games to have more money to buy other new games. Now that's why you have to make good games.
Mass Effect 2 is a damn good game, but it's not anything that hasn't been made before IMO, it's an extremely polished game however.
Such as bioware's own kotor :D,Kotor II, Deus Ex. Certain JRPG's over the years. Metal Gear Solid (not 4), all of these had atmosphere, and worlds, emotional attachment and some of them had interactive dialogue.
Mass Effect 2 has an good, but not great story as it's a learning about people story, not going...

not targeted at lucreto, But I have 3 favs this gen FFXIII, Dead Space, ME2 they're my favorite games this gen :D by a whole hellofalot.

The games that got good reviews but bad word of mouth were FF's such as FFIX and FFXII which got around 5 million in sales. FFXIII is around 4+ million in sales. So I think it'll perform around those levels.
Though I love all 3 games... I won't downplay the negativity FFXIII is getting. N4G is extremely negative towards FFXIII for some reason, much more so than anywhere else I've been.

The don't convert it. Everythings more expensive in Japan. For example FFXIII was ¥9,240 when it was first released. It's actually more than 15 dollars in Japan. It will 9.99 here just like FF8 and FF9. As 1500 yen is how much those FF7 and FF8 was in japan.
except for Super mario is still better in both quality and sales than little big planet. IMO
And there much better FPS that are better than Killzone or Halo. Such as Half Life-2 or Bioshock.
RPG king also has to do with sales I'd assume as well. Which for JRPG is still Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy. Not persona. I love persona too, but find they're are not very many environments. They're not really the same type of game besides the battlesystem

I think that's what the article was meaning. Like I have a 360 and my RROD. But microsoft was nice and shipped it and it was back in 3 days and worked ever since.
Like if you take it as the xbox360 fails the most. (hardware wise). Then yes, that's correct. Proven. But Microsoft was pretty nice to me atleast.

It makes sense to do this. The choices are
A) make non-interactive scenes look prettier by post-processing and higher res models.
B) make non-interactive scenes look worse because you want the xbox to do it on the spot. And then you have a loading time tacked on.
Easy choice yes?
the question is, is can you even remain undetected acting the way sam fisher does? In real life?
I can't tell you either way. But, I think people are making to big a deal about the dead body's. But at the same time. If I was ubisoft I would hope they atleast estimated how many fans they would lose because of it. And that it was financially better for them not to include it. (Makes them an ass company but still every company is about $)
half-life 2 had no multiplayer. or a really crappy one, not counting counterstrike. And is one of my favorite FPS. As well as bioshock. no multiplayer
I disagree completely with 7 of the choices. And don't agree with the comments on most of these as well.
