There are a few things to consider with the "exclusive" mark: Does it mean they are console exclusive? (meaning they'll also be on the PC.) And also, how many of these games will ever see the light of day? It goes for X-Box 1 too.

12 Games for the PS3, for me: Last of Us, Demons Souls, Valkyrie Chronicles, Uncharted 2, Resistance 2, FolkLore, Little Big Planet, Heavy Rain, Infamous 2, Journey, Siren: Blood Curse and finally, Shadow of the Collossus. These are the games you need to fully experience the PS3. Amazing games from amazingly different genres. Each bring their own special qualities. They alone bring the reason's to have a PS3.
The reason I don't like this game going multi platform is because now the graphics are watered down. The Square people are not just focusing of optimizing one system, but making a game for about 3 consoles. Instead of getting a game that looks like the cut scenes for the games, we get games that just look like the HD remake versions. Really lame that Sony didn't work out a deal for exclusivity in this game or FF15. Their loss
Why doesn't Microsoft have good relations with PC? It's weird, to think they'd have a much stronger relationship with PC's. And here is Sony coming out with games that are cross platform or games that effect each other from different platforms like Dust 514 and EVE online
Is COD going to be F2P? How about the new Naughty Dog game? Mass Effect? The new Metal Gear? Battlefield? Yeah, those are the games I am looking forward to with Online capabilities.
Also, I think a huge reason most people buy game consoles is to play the game, those other services are extras.
Lazy f*ckin companies, I swear. What happened to the guys that geeked out over every new device there were. What happened to people who experimented with the unknown devices and pushed them to their limits and capacity. Now it's just a bunch of guys in EA, Take 2, Ubisoft and Activision trying to turn out as many games as possible, as easy as possible. They even buy developers to create other games and then water it down for the masses.

Yup, this is the same thing Said about their PS3 debut price. And they out sold Xbox crazy the first 2 years.
Why can't it happen for the XOne? They have a lot of the american market, which is about 150million strong. And they have internet connection.
For this Generation, I have to go with God of War III, and Mass Effect 2. In Mass Effect 2 the main character get's offed, who the hell see's that coming?! But this opening is really good too.

they just wanted money. I hope these 2 games keep getting delayed. The reason I wanted these games as exclusives is because Square would only be focusing on 1 console and devoting all its energy to optimizing the console to the fullest.
Now they are spreading out their resources and reducing the quality of their products. Imagine if the KH3 game looked like their cutscenes? But no, we get a game that looks like the KH HD version.

You don't think X-box owners haven't been waiting patiently for those exclusives? But then again, the rationale comes to play. Sony isn't making you pay for offline gaming. Those games are offline based, that means more PS4 owners will be it because of that.
the PS3 cost 200 more when it debut, a year after the 360, still outsold it. I don't know why you think a lower price would mean better sales. Sony won because of exclusives and free online MP. Not that many exclusives in the start, but if Sony can keep constantly pumping out Sick a.ss exclusives, they might win. But they don't have the free MP anymore.
Free 2 play's that are on the PC... I don't consider them exclusive to PS4. I was underwhelmed with Sony's E3. They showed games that were already shown at the PS4 unveiling. There were 2 new ones that stood out. Everything else was meh.
So: 2 new IP's and a lot of indie games were shown, those were the high lights
