I don't see anything revolutionizing here. A mech as a playable object? Can that mech fly (StarHawk)? It's looks generic with the FPS feel. But one thing I do like is that Halo Jet pack jump thing. Where it seems like you can jump with boosters.
I was thinking the same thing. Those mechanics are much tougher than the previous installments. I don't know how an 8 year old can play it to the point where he can use weapons.

Yeah. PS2 got crazy hype before it came out. It was going on at least a 1 year campaign. And it was being advertised everywhere. This thing hasn't really been being covered all that much. Outside of the gamer bubble there has been some advertisement at Champions League soccer games on those sliding panels

So people don't think 60 bucks is a lot of money? I thought this was a very creative ad for the ADHD culture we live in. Where people want things right now, and do things without reason. I think it captured the essence of a gamer very well.
The only Great game they've had was RDR. List the other noticeable games they've had? LA Noire was actually developed by Team Bondi. GTA IV was boring, the MP being it's saving grace. Max Payne? That haven't really made any other noticeable games other than those. And one not being of their own creation (LA Noire).
I see GTA V winning best MP, but best overall game? I don't know. What are factors for being a great game?
I take Story into consideration.
Gameplay; how good are the controls. And how fluid the controls are when performing actions.
Graphics; if the graphics fit the game and the way the game is played then I'm for it. Crappy graphics for me is when i see the game as bland because of the surroundings.
Replay value; when I finish the game do I ...
Beyond: Two Souls looks very impressive. If Quantic Dreams can change the game so the controls are more fluid. I don't want to see quick time events being the main driving force when you're controlling the player. I think it could be in the running for game of the year. But how can it win game of the year if not that many people would have the opportunity to play it before the year is out.

Seriously, those consoles look very similar. It's weird as hell. And they also have similar architecture. I hope that there are more consoles that come in the future. And the way consoles are becoming more like PC's, maybe some PC aspects (i.e. Nvidia) will start making some form of consoles. I like how some of them have been coming out recently. I hope for another gaming revolution, but not done by indies but propelled by new consoles. And hopefully the steam box, ouya and Nvi...
