I honestly doubt PSN was hacked. Its just the Y2K glitch, hopefully my ps3 will be up and running in no time.

That why PS3 is a execellent choice for me. Great games, great community and free online!
Well that depends if its a 1st party or a 3rd party game. All 3rd party developers have to pay royalties to respective consoles their developing for (and number of dvd's for MS) and I think that's pretty much it.
Don't forget that a chunk of the money need to go to retailers, publishers, shipping, VAT/Taxes, marketing and manafacturing. Its a expensive process and unfortunatly justifies the $60/£40 price tag.
But I buy my games when they're much cheaper ;)
1. Yes, without a doubt PC has the best graphics, although anyone new to pc gaming, intially its going to cost a truckload.
2. The hardware is definatly more capable, but things like ray tracing and HDR lighting and what not hardly improves the actual gameplay does it?
3. More games doesn't mean better games. But I respect that everyone has their own tastes to gaming and follow their platform of choice.
4. A massive to anyone, it can keep a game going for years.

An Xbot is a person who refuses to even respect let alone buy the competition's software. Same thing for a droid. By admitting that God Of War 3 looks great, you've taken the first step into being a 'real gamer'.
And yes, I love story driven games like Heavy Rain. Even though I'm not a Droid (but I am a Sony fan) I can admit that Alan Wake is going to be great.
