LittleBigPlanet PS Vita is my GOTY 2012 so far. I played a lot of games this year, but I still haven't played all the games I want from 2012 so my GOTY is subject to change, most likely to Persona 4 Golden.

I only played the demo for Tomba! when I was a kid. Now I collect video games and I want to buy physical copies of Tomba 1 and 2 when I can find them cheap enough. I really want to play the Tomba games, but since they're rare PS1 games I want to own complete physical copies instead of buying the PSOne Classics. I just bought two complete PS1 games this week, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile for $31 and Ape Escape for $5.
Electronic Symphony is the best game in the Lumines series. It looks visually stunning on the Vita's 5" OLED and the soundtrack is amazing. I think this game is underrated, more Vita owners should play it. Hopefully it'll be free for PS Plus members eventually.
I've owned my Vita for over half a year now. I have 20 Vita games so far and there's a lot more I want to buy. I hope to get a 3DS in 2013 too. I've been playing my Vita everyday since I got it and I haven't even completed half of my games for it, Persona 3 Portable has been taking up a lot of my time with the Vita. I haven't even opened Persona 4 Golden or Ragnarok Odyssey yet. I've also been playing my PS3 a lot, as usual and I recently bought a Wii and a Dreamcast. ...
Come on, they couldn't have temporarily dropped the prices before Christmas? Someone just bought me a 32 GB card for $80. Oh well, I'm just glad to finally have one. I went the last six months with just a 4 GB. It's so much nicer being able to download everything I want and not have to swap out games all the time.
Someone should create a petition to get Sony and 2K to fund the BioShock game Irrational wants to develop for the PS Vita.
Same here. I got a 32 GB card for Christmas after going six months using a 4 GB card. So much better. I'm gonna use my old card to download JP demos.
Journey and Gravity Rush's soundtracks are absolutely beautiful. I'd like to get both and keep them sealed for collecting purposes. Recollection is probably my favorite on the Gravity Rush soundtrack. Some of the music in Journey gives me chills. Especially 'I was Born for This'. What a masterpiece. I won't lie, I shed a tear the first time I heard it as the credits rolled. Journey has one of the best, if not THE best soundtrack I've ever heard in a game.

Great article. PS Vita was the best system to own this year imo. I play mine all the time and love it. It's everything I could want in a handheld and more. It's game library is amazing. I especially love Lumines: Electronic Symphony, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, Super Stardust Delta, WipEout 2048, Gravity Rush, Sound Shapes, LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and Persona 4 Golden.
