it is the game of the year of ps3 and maybe of all platforms,
i can understand if someone has doubts in buying GTA4 but not MGS4, its a master piece game, action stealth and movie like game!! u will have a lot of emotions in MSG4 more than GTA4, GTA4 is about having fun and doing bad things, MGS4 is about u going to another world, the world of snake and that is one of the best characters of gaming of all time!
u got that right, i agree with u completely but u missed the part when they said they sold 2 to 1 more copies in north america!
all companies spins the facts but MS doing it in unconvincing way!

a lie when someone claims false facts, MS didnt lie when they said they will sell more but they lied when they said they sold 2-to-1 in 360 favour in NA!
this is the only game that they can mention for a long while till the DLC arrives and gears 2, they have other great games(will sell millions) but they r not system sellers!
conclusion:
GTA4 had more hardware impact on ps3 than 360 and sofware sale 360 sold more but not even close to 2:1 for 360 advantage i say 4:3 to 360 advantage!

the only systems i owned in my life is PS1 and PS2 and planning to get PSP and PS3, so i deserve some bubbles right? am currently at 5!

with software usually they are close to the truth, so even if they missed a million or added a million GTA4 still sold a lot and its just like they said 4:3 in favor of 360 and ps3 have higher attach rate(more % of ps3 owners buying GTA4 than 360)

yes, ps3 has been selling more than 360 for a while and the HW impact on ps3 was more than 360 but still, they both increased in same percentage of course if ps3 was selling 100,000 unit the week before GTA4 release and 360 50,000 then the increase of ps3 will be 127,000 more unit sold and 360 would have got 62,000 more units but the reality is different they were already close to each other i think ps3 was 80~k and 360 was 60~k and in the USA the effect probably the same but not sure, we hav...

i think they can easily make a price drop this summer, but not in USA because of the low USD!

i was thinking of holding for GTA5 since it will be exclusive and will be much larger in space size, but from what i hear of this game it is worth the money i spend on it! but i really wonder how GTA5 will look like! i have the feeling if it is true to be ps3 time exclusive then we might see 20-40GB size GTA5 and all the things in GTA4 but more advanced! but i cant wait for GTA5 to come! i will just buy both!
