This is only an opinion.
They are what you make them. Personally I would prefer to not have a Sony simply for the fact that I didn't particularly like how they handled the whole hacking fiasco.

Wow all the microsoft haters jump on this post. Nothing wrong with getting systems prepped for a major update. They do this every year!
