I was born and raised a console gamer, i have zero interest in pc gaming, pc gaming cant provide games like GOW, mlb the show, days gone, last of us 2, HZD, and all the nintendo franchises i would love to play on a modern console. Dedicated home console is sooo 1980’s HHAHAHAHH. Portable gaming is so overrated, i go out to be social with people not to be gaming outside like some dweeb that lacks social skills, If i do get bored i can always play games on my iphone.
It won't gather dust because its a portable. I cant wait till nintendo really launches a real home console with graphics at least on par with the next gen ps5 and x2, i would buy day 1 like i did wii u, wii, n64.
With google, apple competing with xboxone for the 3rd party gamepass, its going to be an uphill battle because xbox relies heavily on 3rd party games, they dont make worthwhile console selling exclusives, its 3rd party, and google is coming after that, they will offer more money for certain games to be exclusive to their service.

Every year xbox is going to kill it at e3 and every year all they show is 3rd party games they pretend is exclusive, Metro Exudos another 3rd party game was the best they had to offer last e3. Il watch the xbox presentation because all the games they show will be on pc and ps4.
They like to pretend all 3rd party games are exclusive, they only started including switch because Microsoft begged nintendo to put live on switch to inflate the sub numbers.
