There no excuses, nintendo is double dipping on two markets, they failed miserably in the dedicated home console business, so they went to their successful handheld market, not really a fair comparison because xbox and playstation aren't adding on handheld numbers. If switch were just a home console it would sell just as good as the wii u. dont be so foolish.

PlayStation Plus subscriber total is now at 38.8 million. Its low by playstation standards because you can play fortnite and the rest of the free to play games without having plus or putting any kind of credit details unlike the other console that charges to play fortnite online.
Nintendo atari sega were all once in the dedicated home console race, them 3 are the og's and none of them make home consoles anymore, Sony and microsoft killed them all and nintendo's case they ran off to their handheld market because they could not keep up with the big 2 in the dedicated home console business. Ill continue to support the big 2 as long as i can.
