"I personally think VR will remain an early adopter fad, something for tech heads and games journalists to show their mates when they come around, rather than a legit gamer’s preferred way to play once they get home ready for a session in the evening... At least until Scorpio launches! Microsoft is right to wait and perfect the hardware before asking us to shell out."
Yeah, just ask all those people with Kinects!
About time somebody admitted this. The TV show part was the thing that turned me off from the game. The action in the gameplay looked cool otherwise.
I knew something was borked in the whole thing once the video clocked in at 75 gigs for an hour and a half worth of footage if you wanted to DL it. That's a boner on a monumental level.
It's not that they don't matter, it's just that they're not the main driving force of console sales like people hype them up to be. If you must get a system for exclusives, you may have to get more than one, and you may want to get one that's well rounded with both first and third party games.
Why are they being pressured to do anything? They've done all they can. Price drops, free games, gift cards, layaways. There's nothing else that can be done outside of dropping the price even more and taking in further losses for the Xbox division. And for what? Just to TRY to be number one in one country?
Why is the media pressuring them to act? Too much clamoring for this system to desperately power its way ahead. Doesn't sound like they can truly enjoy the syst...
Yeah, all thanks to Minecraft. The only reason they bought the game was to make software look more impressive in investor reports.
Do these posts ever get old? Seriously, if you're still waiting around for this carrot dangling off this stick a whole two years after this gen launched, then you need to upgrade to a PC or something. Enough already! I'm starting to hate the this combination of numbers and letters.
End DX12 for Xbox One articles on N4G forever!
I don't understand the dislikes when this is exactly the case. Target Online says those X1 and PS4 deals are "In Stores Only". The Wii U isn't going to win NPD or BF. There's really no use in being salty about that statement.
2016 priorities:
Cut the prices... again
Give games away for free
Hide losses
Sounds about right
Hilarious. Too bad the link is to some furry's Twitter though.
If Xbox One outsold PS4 in the USA, it wouldn't be on the strength of its own product anyway. It's because they would keep slashing the prices and giving all the games away for free. Anyone could do that.
Microsoft knows they can't lean on Halo anymore. The only strategy they have left to is to give away their product.
First post made me LOL hard!
*slowly raises hand* No, no you are not.
I clicked the link and got a malware warning. Someone's REALLY angry about this article, huh?
Insomniac got wined, dined and pampered by the dark side and got screwed in the deal. The Xbox general base didn't want a game like this. Sure MS let them keep the IP, but only with the terms that they couldn't put the game on anything else, making it useless and defeating the purpose.
They tanked with EA and they tanked with MS. Who are they going to shop themselves to now? I'm sure they don't want to make Ratchet and Clank for the rest of their lives.
It's horribly funny.
There's no doubt that all Phil Spencer wants is good news for Xbox One though. They seem pretty salty at times with their current position in the market, and I'm sure he'll go through ANY length to give the Xbox One positive coverage by any means available.
With his current position, I'm sure his job is on the line to keep the system in the limelight, whatever it takes. If they're pulling string with Machinima, you know it's more widespread than what w...
Exactly, you've got these console makers and game publishers 'turfing up the place, and making sure we were none the wiser. These guys have been treating ethics in the game scene as a complete joke, and it's about time they got called out on it.
As soon as I read Xbox One has sold 15 million units in this article, I knew it was time to turn back.
What? Why? Gamers bought the console for the games. PS4 fans don't have to invest in a higher priced console out of a bruised ego
