Sweet! Haven't played the 1st Borderlands in years but guess I now have a reason to play it again
That's odd. They say XB1 ver is sharper quality and has better textures due to anisotropic filtering being on PC and XB1 and absent on Ps4 yet they still give the ps4 ver the nod... on your tv the game will look the same but just curious how they gave ps4 ver the nod

So the reviewer faults this game because it's not Gears 2 or Gears 3... People petitioned for a Gears 1 remaster so thats what they gave us. I'm sorry but I don't think you can fault a game for not being another game if that makes sense
Not surprising seeing so many great reviews already for this game, can't wait to pick it up.
One thing you can't deny about Nintendo is that they do have amazing first party exclusives, looking forward to this.

Seriously though, this game was a lot of fun but I guess it might've appeared a bit childish to a lot of gamers but I thoroughly enjoyed SO and the add-ons even if they were a bit short imo

Yeah that's called realistic physics. Turn 10 have said before they want their game to be as realistic as possible, I remember hearing they actually went and recorded where the puddles formed on maps just to replicate it perfectly, their attention to detail is unmatched
I would've said wait until the new Xbox One UI coming this September (for preview members) and November for everyone if the author based his decision on the slower UI of the Xbox One. There's perfectly valid reasons for switching from XB1 to PS4 or vice versa but I'd personally recommend to anyone that can to pick up both systems (black friday cough cough) because then you can enjoy the great range of exclusives from both Sony and MS but if you can only afford one, you can't ...
It's already confirmed to be running at 1080p, I don't think it's forced either. Working on one platform allows a lot more optimization that devs otherwise wouldn't always have with multiplat games

Well the retail version is going to be avaliable 5 days early on XB1, but glad the beta is releasing on all 3 platforms at the same time, going to be playing it on all 3 platforms so can't wait
The King is back, got it downloading now and can't wait to play.
The beta is also open to everyone that signs up without having to pre-order, cannot wait to give this a try.
It's hard to say, the controller itself is a massive improvement over the best console controller ever made so it could attract pro gamers but the price difference between this and the standard console will definitely put a lot of casuals off
PS4 has the brand domination worldwide, Xbox One has only ever done well in the US and UK anywhere else ps4 practically dominates the market.
