No, I didn't experience a single glitch or freeze. There were very few minor frame rate issues, but it's barely noticeable. :)
Thank you! :)
You can actually turn them off in the options menu. :)
:) you know it.
But that's my point. The developer was able to achieve a level of quality that rivals most AAA titles, hence the praise. This is an excellent game, even if it was developed by an entire team of people instead of just one guy. :)
You have to keep one thing in mind: The game was made by ONE person. A single individual was responsible for all the programming, the art, the level design, and the narrative. Despite some help on the voice acting and soundtrack, this is an accomplishment that's truly praiseworthy and needs to be taken into account when reviewing the game.
Wow, this looks awesome. Great review!!
Sorry guys, keyboard had a spasm. Fixed the Caps. Apologies! :)
While a simple XBLA download, Mark of the Ninja is an incredibly well made game that introduces so many new gameplay elements, it puts other AAA titles in the genre to shame. You should really give it a try sometime, it surprised me just as much as everyone else. :)
Thank you! :)
Thanks for noting. Fixed! :)
Well, think about it. Dead Space, Skyrim and Arkham city are not only eye candy....they have spectacular gameplay that's pretty easy to pick up, but has a ton of depth to it. These are kind of like "show off " games! So it has to be a mix between great gameplay and pleasing graphics. :) :) :)
Why puzzled?
By no means is the score inflated. You're getting more value for your money from this game than from most AAA titles that come out these day, and comparatively to the genre, it's one of the strongest, and most fun titles out there. I think GTA IV receiving a 10 is an inflated score. The game had poor gameplay mechanics, an unacceptable frame rate. below HD resolution, and in my opinion was an 8.5 - it was great, but certainly not "perfect".
Sleeping Dogs ex...
Yea, it's nice to see a retro classic like this make such a colorful comeback. Now all we need is Streets of Rage in HD. :)
That's true....I suppose it's even funnier then if they take it seriously, right?! :) hahahahaha!!!
