Everything about this looks fantastic... except for the combat...
Going to have to disagree. The first was amazing. The second improved on it in almost every way. Can't wait for a proper sequel.

I have a feeling a large reason it was delayed was to work on the PS5 version.
You can expect it to be EXACTLY like Doom the Dark Ages and Indiana Jones IF it has a physical copy.
I wholeheartedly agree. If ANY game deserved to get the rework/relaunch it deserved it was this one. More than literally any other. Even over FFXIV, No Mans Sky etc.
Space Marine 2 isn't in the list.
DS2 is though. And he even says it's on his list of best games of the year.

This sounds like a stupid report.
I always hated statements like this. It's physically impossible for this to be true, unless it's something the hardware has that is truly unique. Such as the Wii's original motion controls (before PS copied them), the OG PSEye back on PS2, the first VR headset etc).
I feel like they've been saying this, or some variation of this for well over a decade at this point...
Wrong. Larian studios has already come out and said it's not Divinity.
It's been a month since you posted this, how do you feel about it now? I'd say it's 100% worth playing.
I'd say it's been more hit or miss rather than a letdown.
