Don't get me wrong I'm gonna RENT gears 3, but it will be included in the $15 a month I pay for the blockbuster game pass, I rarely pay full price for any console game, that is reserved for pc games ...
if the put 64 players on the console versions it would not even run at 15 frames per second if they kept the same visual fidelity, this is the bad thing about going 6 years with a console.
It is simply not possible to have such nice graphics/physics/destruction as BF3 and put that many players on the field with current console hardware, if they could, they would.
If it is very important for people to have the best possible BF3 experience, then the PC version ...
please, it looks better than 70% of games on ps3 and 360, it looks better than deus ex does on console, it looks 20x better than that travisty shadows of the damned, it looks way better than any halo or rockstar game.../.
This thing is basically a portable ps3, it might be a bit weaker, but the smaller screen size versus the resolution actually makes it look higher resolution than the norm for current consoles at 720p or less, so it looks like it is higher quality resolutio...
numbers are way higher, this is NOT factoring all the digital sales on pc, walmart does not report, nor best buy, it is more likely closer to 1 million total sales.

i agreed with u, consoles are more user friendly for sure and i love a ton of console games, i even play my ps2 somtimes, but, what i was saying, if you got a mid range to sweet ass gaming rig, why play multi's on console, pc version always looks better and runs better....with a decent pc

the average, AVERAGE console resolution is about 1100x680 (factor in all the super sub hd games like alan wake (940x540) )
the consoles have virtually no anti aliasing and normally look very jaggie

consoles were cool in 2005 and 2006, it is and has been pc's time since 2007, it will not be the time for consoles to shine again until new ones are released, not that I'm not looking forward to uncharted 3 and gears 3 and resistance 3, and obviously DARK FREAKING SOULS!!!
But the general experience on consoles has not been one that has wowed me in any way, shape or form since uncharted 2.
And after uncharted 2, nothing will wow me on console until we ge...
yet wow still has 11 million people paying $15 a month to play an 8 year old game and makes more money in a month or two than 95% of all other games released this year, last year, the year before or next will in their entire lifecycles, so, i think they are doing ok!

bf3 on pc is beyond anything any current console will have ever, just like most AAA pc games from the last 4 years!
Gears of war 3 and uncharted 3 are great looking games for their platforms and will hold their own with BF3 on console, but they both look a full generation behind games like BF3 pc, crysis 2 dx11 pc, metro2033 dx11 pc ect.
you need at least a decent dual core cpu and a $75 or up dedicated graphics chip with 2 gb ram and you could run it better than consoles at 1600x900 (900p) with a small amount of aa and it would look very good....
to really max it something like this would work very well....

looks good, just remember to watch it in full screen on you 50 inch tv to get an adie of what it will look like, if you are watchhing this in a 10" window on your laptop with it compressed all to hell in 720p you are kidding yourself if you think that same quality image is going to be there blown up to 50", ain't gonna happen, it'll look good, just like the beta
