I have no idea why people think more competition is a bad thing. Do you guys REALLY want steam to be the only one? If they were, there would be no reason for them to do sales, since they wouldn't have to compete with other DD services. I say the more the merrier, that way, each platform will have to do big sales in order to give costumers incentives to buy from them and not someone else.
Not true. If the only BF game's you've played are the Bad Company games then yes. You're gonna hate it. But, if you played PR, and BF2. Then you'll feel right at home. Because the same strategies that work in BF2, and PR work in this game.
