Agreed. It was smart. A lot of the next gen first day releases will be franchises that have been around for a while. People that play Battlefield will go for Battlefield, Cod people will go for Cod, etc. so a lot of people will go to something they are more familiar with. Especially since most people will only have some money(like me) just to purchase 1 game after putting down $$$ for next gen consoles.

Maybe, just MAYBE, they learned from RE5 and 6, but I doubt it. They had a whole gen to go back to its roots, but they didn't even try. Hell they let someone else make a RE game. Milking the zombie cow! The last good Resident Evil game I played was RE4. That was 2005. 2000 and f'n 5. I didn't know it was that long ago =o. That makes Capcom suck even more, lol. I never did play RE Revelations so I can't comment on that.

I loved opening my games on the way home after my mom bought me something. I would just smell of the case and look at the manuel just to see what kind of characters and information it would have so I would be ready to pop that cd in as soon as I got home. I remember playing DMC 3 and Zone of the Enders like 10 times each!
