ummm... i am in the beta and i have to say that whoever is leaking these screens is hampering the development of this title.

-a complete forge kit the developers used available in the game
-awesome graphics
anyone who knew what this game has become expected nothing less.
I suppose SCEE could throw it out there on the PSN @ like 20gigs, but I bet people would complain about the size...

hmm... now i am torn between reviews. I guess I am going to have to what every decent gamer has to do... buy the game and find out for myself!
Kinda disappointing but I can understand his complaints. I can also understand the 15 dollar price tag. It seems like a good review its just the game doesnt perform in its usual case.
Considering I was dumb enough to buy novastrike for 10 bucks this seems like a steal lol

well the First person coversystem for one thing. the ability to revive your squadmates is somewhat unique. Secondly, the visual fidelity, smoke, animation, explosions, and so on ALL add to the immersion factor and we all know that immersion is half the battle for a FPS.

well there were shortages for the ps3 the entire month of July. I dont think it was as bad as PS fanboys made it seem but it was there.
The 360 price cut is not going to matter. The ps3 will maintain its lead throughout the rest of the year and into 2009.
I am guessing that the ps3 is going to crush the 360 this year at the annual fiscal year report.

yeah I wish they tracked walmart too. I would be shocked if the percentages between the two were way off though. I think these numbers would be pretty representative of the U.S.
I dont care too much but I am interested in the state of the industry. That being said when the numbers come out at the end of this fiscal year the PS3 is going to CRUSH the 360 worldwide. I am guessing when the official numbers are announced the ps3 will be about 3 million behind the 360.
wow, with the 360 price drop nothing happens. The perceived value for the 360 is like 199 bucks... Not good for MS. It looks like its fizzling out.

Great preview. I think we are looking at the Game of the Year right here. Not only that but this may just be the title that persuades casual fans to upgrade their PS system.

so what? It is still coming out on TWO platforms, when this happens it has a hard time gaining enough traction on one platform to sell that platform.
The fact of the matter is, is that a exclusive comes out on one PLATFORM not two. Spin it however you like, its not an exclusive.
exactly. build a beefy new cell processor. 2 cores 32 spu's wth 3-4 gigs of RAM. they will already have basic tools for dealing with a processor of this type.
i think when the fiscal year is over and both companies produce their numbers the PS3 is going to be CRUSHING the 360 worldwide. I expect the PS3 to be down by something like 2-3 million units. Look for them to overtake the 360 mid next year.
At least thats my opinion.
