Since I dont own a 360 (yet) I have really never checked your guys news... I gotta say ps3 fanboys are just as bad! Sheesh... anyway I wish MS would just come out with ONE addition. I mean come on... 3? Oh well I am glad I waited I will be picking up an elite and it will sit right next to my PS3... Yup. This makes me happy to think about... MGS, Halo, Uncharted, lost planet... need I go on?
I should have said MORE 1st and 2nd party developers... that would be factual and without any opinion... can I not have an opinion on who I believe has the better 1st and 2nd party games?

The "normal" consumer loves their ps2 and cant wait to afford a ps3... ask anyone who knows very little about consoles, but still owns one. They all talk about the sony brand... brand recognition and great hardware will pull through again.
The regular consumer doesn't really know how many games are out or care how many games are out... they care about a few... gta, halo, MGS, Final fantasy etc etc.
Brand recognition will carry through in winter sales...

Although I can plug my PC into my 61" I still love 1.) the couch 2.) the controllers... It is just so much more comfortable.

My PS3 doesnt create a lot of heat... what do you have your system in? Is it getting enough ventilation? thats weird...
I am no expert... never claimed to be one. Doesn't mean I can't have an opinion. That is all anyone can give at this point. We are actually just starting to figure out what this CPU is capable of; Sony isn't stupid like many people think. This is going to sound kinda fanboyish (I am a fan of gaming; not a particular console), I think the PS3 is one of the finer designs I have ever seen. A lot of thought went into this console. SO, IMHO I would say 8 years...
