I'm thinking NVidia and ATI are teaming up to take the money of upgrade-hogs.
Once the GTX 295 is released, ATI will announce 5870 that is 50-80% much faster than the GTX 295.
Then once released, NVidia will announce a GTX 295 Ultra or something.. and so on..
Both companies probably have a lineup of video cards to be released in 2009, they are just holding them back for more $$$$.

Anyway, I still have no idea how this would work. Quake on the iPhone/iPod Touch is bad, control-wise.

Once you played MGS4 and tried to play MGS1,2 and 3 again, you'll see why MGS4 is the best.

every PS3 owner in the US bought atleast (2) MGS4 game last June based on the 774,600 copies of MGS4 sold in that month alone.
