I did this recently to my PS4 Pro, PS3, and PS Vita and everything actually does seem faster to me.

We live in a such a time for video games that purchasing a title a year after its initial release is actually the best, most cost efficient way to play and purchase games.
By then, the game is cheaper and patched.
It is much better.
