Celebrating the game's powerful representation of women doesn't deny the work and effort put into development—it does quite the opposite. The article celebrates and praises the work of the developers and the effort they put into the game. Nobody said that Rockstar buckled under media pressure; all that's being said is that they made a great game with great female representation in 2018, regardless of their previous works.
There's a lot of influential women in gaming, we'd be here all day if we listed them all!
Just so you know, reviewers are gamers too.
Really hope Respawn attempt a proper multiplayer game, either with Titanfall 3 or Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. So keen to see what they do next—hopefully Apex Legends isn't the only thing they do.
You clearly didn't read the article.
Really? It's hard to say which one requires more ambition and effort if you haven't worked on either game. Both games are phenomenal.
The tweets specifically refer to a mission in the game where Bruce's choices led to him failing, and he criticised this choice of focusing on "epic stories" over gameplay. Not sure how the headline would alter your perception of this, it seems pretty accurate to me.
Shows how good Rockstar is at security
That's not what launch trailers are for...
I think I personally prefer the RDR1 launch trailer https://www.youtube.com/wat... but hot damn I am keen for this game!
It definitely felt like this game was going to be delayed a few weeks ago, but I'm so glad that they're finally pushing the marketing like this. I've never been this excited for a game before.
Probably would be better but I'd rather Bethesda focus on the new TES or Fallout.
Man, I miss the classic Ratchet and Clank games. I hope they do something with the series soon before people forget about it
Marston's voice actor doesn't have Twitter.
"if it's a positive review reflect it in a way that makes sense or don't do it at all"
You mean, like, through words? Instead of an arbitrary numbering system? Because that's exactly what the scoring sets out to achieve.
@remixx116 137 to make, 128 for marketing. 250 in total.
@Razzer it's worthy of a headline to some, so that's more than enough.
@Razzer Not true at all. Bruce said "leaving Naughty Dog was one of the greatest things to happen in my career". it didn't change the context, it just limited it and the rest of the article speaks about it more. it didn't miscontrue his words at all, it was a direct quote from him, just because you took it to be negative when it isnt doesn't mean it's false. also, clickbait doesn't automatically mean bad, especially if true, it just means they'e trying to get...
@Razzer Could have been worse. 'Last of Us director says it was rewarding to leave naughty dog' etc.
