I don't understand people thinking these prices are going to be anywhere near $499. It's going to have more VRAM than the Titan, a $1,000 card. Heck, I'll be impressed if it isn't $1,499.

I think it just means from the 'concept cover' phase. I'm pretty sure folks have been bitter about the Wii U exclusivity for about a year now :-) Ninty and SEGA don't seem to be budging on that exclusivity.
