I remember doing that once. I went to a Game Crazy across town looking for a Wii and they said I won't be able to get one for a long time.
So I go home and call every bloody Game Crazy in town. Finally I come across one that has a Wii in stock.
So I rush across town, get it, go back to the other Game Crazy. Walk up to the same guy with the Wii in-hand and said "Oh really now?"
That was a good day. ^__^

I don't expect my game systems to die due to a technical flaw. If a system ever did that to me, I wouldn't be happy even if Microsoft was willing to fix it for free. -_-
Don't get me wrong. The 360 has some pretty good games, but the system itself is faulty and prone to malfunction, unfortunately. :(
