I just now had the chance to install it. I haven't had any games freeze on me, but I have had a couple incidents with the controller disconnecting. I also miss that old epic startup screen. :'(

In other news, the PS3 version of FFXIII is expected to outsell the 360 version in Japan.
I'm almost positive that the PS3 will outsell the 360 this Christmas, and probably for a long time after that. Who wouldn't want an awesome game system/Blu-ray player for $300? ;o
I've actually been thinking about getting a 360 myself.
But I have a dilemma. I never had an original Xbox, so getting a 360 would be kind of like getting two systems in one. But since the Arcade doesn't have a harddrive and isn't backwards compatible, that's out. I don't have an HD TV either, so the HDMI cable that currently comes with the Elite is useless to me. That just leaves the Pro, which is about to be discontinued, so I only have maybe a few weeks left to get it.

But that's just more of the same. The 360 already has two Gears of War games, two Halo games (by then), and a Fable game. Microsoft will have to do better than that if they want to attract more potential 360 owners.
