That's interesting, because I have an SDTV, and Uncharted 2 looks fine on it; nothing like that. Maybe he should try not playing it with the sharpness turned all the way down. >.>
The only game I've ever had problems with because of my SDTV is Dead Rising, and that was because of the STUPID RIDICULOUSLY SMALL TEXT GODDAMN HOW COULD ANYONE READ THAT?!
Uncharted 2 is an outstanding game, no question. But imo Killzone 2 should be GOTY, followed by Demon's Souls, THEN Uncharted 2. Of course, all three of those games deserve it.
Warhawk ($12)
Burnout Paradise ($20)
Battlefield: Bad Company ($20)
Resistance FOM ($15)
Those games are all awesome. :D
EDIT: This was supposed to reply to number 6. I don't know why it's here.
GET KILLZONE
GO ONLINE
RUN INTO A CROWDED ENEMY ROOM HOLDING A GRENADE
"XXXX committed suicide"
"XXXX > Enemy1"
"XXXX > Enemy2"
"XXXX > Enemy3"
"XXXX > Enemy4"
Also, teabag dying enemies. ;o
And it's only going to get better.
Also, from one of bjornbear's links:
"Sony, you can keep your ability to plug in 7 controllers. I'll take being able to play with 63 other players on live in a fps over 7 controllers any day of the week."
And which system is going to let you play with 255 people on an FPS? OH THE IRONY.
The last one I remember was last week playing Battlefield: Bad Company. I was running with my team towards a flag, I think, and suddenly I got hit. I turned around, and there was a tank coming at me, and I didn't have any time to get out of the way. There was only one thing I could do; I took my gun shot the tank twice, and the tank exploded.
This all happened in the space of maybe two seconds. That moment made me feel so awesome. That's probably not my best, but it's my most rec...
Even if it was Demon's Souls? D:
Yeah, but Bethesda also publish a lot of crap, as well (Rogue Warrior). Every game that the company DEVELOPS is good, but their track record isn't very good when it comes to publshing other companies' games.
ND have been making awesome game after awesome game for the last 15 years, and that's not good enough for you?
I got this game on Sunday. It definitely deserves best RPG. But damn, it's really tough. @_@
"not a ps3 exclusive, i am quite sure it is on pc too"
HAHAHA OH WOW
This game is being published by Sega and developed by the same company that made Shellshock 2 and Rogue Warrior?
Yeah, do not want.
**** you, Sega.
Is anyone really surprised? I mean, this IS Sega we're talking about here. The same people who have released crappy Sonic games for the past 10 years. The same people who release terrible "hardcore" Wii games and cry about it when Wii owners don't buy their crap. :/
Hmmm. Has to load everything? Must have been a Sonic 06-level of load times for the PS3 version to lose 1.3 from its score. DO NOT WANT.
@StanLee, evrfighter, Deadrackoning, JokesOnYou - Grow the hell up. ---->
Played the demo. I don't think the game deserves a 9.5. More in the 7-8 territory.
0/10. Try harder, please.
on-topic: I'm not going to be able to buy half of these. I'll have to import GT5 and rent the rest of them, probably. D:
Maybe the employee tried to sell him Rogue Warrior.
Seriously, though, that's terrible. I hope they get the guy. At least the employee lived.
Just when on the Marketplace to see it for myself. The option to buy the game got taken down. It just has "All Downloads" and "Rate", now.
submitted 2 hours ago and it already has 510*...but only 19 comments.
Oh N4G...
Maybe if the games were actually GOOD, people would have bought them.
Overkill: It could maintain a stable framerate running at 30FPS, even though HOTD2 can run at 60FPS on Wii with no problems. Those momentary freezes really screwed up your aim. The game was also ridiculously easy.
Madworld: This has to be the most repetitive game I've ever played. Doing the same six finishing moves and listening to the same stupid jokes from the announcers for hours got old really...
